ABOUT OUR DENTISTS
Jenny Levecke joined the
practice in 1987. She maintains
a family oriented practice, including
most facets of dentistry. Jenny
has completed further training
in Cerec CAD-CAM, the restorative
aspects of dental implant treatment
and endodontics. Jenny is a member
of the Australian Dental Association
(Vic Branch) and has served on
the Graduate education of the
association. She is involved as
an examiner for the Australian
Dental Council Overseas Dentists
course. Outside of dentistry,
Jenny is involved in the school
and recreational activities of
her 2 children.
Will Levecke joined the
practice 1990, and has served
on the Executive of the Australian
Osseointegration. His special
interests are in Cerec CADCAM
and the surgical and restorative
aspects of Dental Implant Treatment.
In 2006 he was appointed Teaching
Fellow at School of Dental Science,
University of Melbourne. He is
a member of the International
Team for Implantology. (ITI) Will
is a member of the Australian
Dental Association (Vic Branch)
and the Australian Osseointegration
Society (Vic Branch). He served
as an honorary dentist during
the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth
games. Will maintains an interest
in the applications of IT to dental
practice and is involved in the
ongoing testing of new applications.
Wynne Yip joined Blackburn
Dental Group in 2006 after having
worked in various disciplines
of dentistry since she graduated
in 2000. She has been a clinical
demonstrator/supervisor in the
undergraduate teaching clinics
at the University of Melbourne
and she is currently teaching
at the new Latrobe University
Dental School at Bendigo. Over
the years, she has also been involved
in many dental health promotional
events. She is a member of the
Australian Dental Association
(Vic Branch). Her special interests
are paedodontics (children's dentistry),
oral rehabilitation and cosmetic
dentistry [Cerec CADCAM restorative
technique]. Wynne is fluent in
Chinese (Cantonese).
Tony Robertson commenced
practice in Blackburn in 1973
and is a past President of and
current executive member of the
Australian Osseointegration Society.
He has special interests are in
Cerec CADCAM and the surgical
and restorative aspects of Dental
Implant Treatment. He has been
involved as an examiner in the
Bachelor of Oral Heath course,
University of Melbourne and for
the Australian Dental Council.
In 2006 he was appointed Teaching
Fellow at the School of Dental
Science, University of Melbourne.
He is a member of the International
Team for Implantology. (ITI).
Tony is a member of the Australian
Dental Association (Vic Branch)
and the Australian Osseointegration
Society (Vic Branch). He has also
maintained a number of interests
in the broader dental community
as a member of the Dental Board
of Victoria and then the Dental
Practice Board of Victoria 1993-2005.
He currently serves on the Continuing
Education Committee of this Board.
He has been involved in the Rotary
Australia-Vietnam community Dental
Health Projects 2001, 2003 and
2005 and served as an honorary
dentist during the Melbourne 2006
Commonwealth games.
Neville Regan was a founding
member in the 1960's, of the practice
which became Blackburn Dental
Group. Originally a general dentist,
he now limits his practice to
the provision of removable full
and partial dentures. He has an
extensive collection of dental
historical memorabilia and artwork.
Neville is involved in helping
to manage the Henry Forman Atkinson
Dental Museum at the University
of Melbourne. He is a member of
the Australian Dental Association
(Vic Branch).
Sophia Richardson joined
Blackburn Dental Group on a part
time basis shortly after she graduated
in 2000. She has worked at Melbourne's
Alfred Hospital and also in a
hospital position in the UK. She
commenced her oral and maxillo-facial
training program in 2003 and completed
her MBBS. qualifications in 2006.
She is due to continue and complete
her advanced surgical training
in 2011.
Rebecca Wong joined Blackburn
Dental Group during 2011 working
on Saturday mornings. Rebecca
holds both Bachelor and Masters
Degrees from the University of
Melbourne as well as a PhD, She
also works as Convenor for 4th
and 5th year general practice
restorative dentistry at the School
of Dental Science. She is an examiner
for the Australian Dental Council,
alongside Jenny and Tony. Rebecca
has specialist registration as
a prosthodontist and can deal
with all aspects of dentistry.
